Review: The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is really out of my usual genres. I heard about it somewhere (in a book podcast I think) and it got my attention. It reminded me a bit of Christopher Moore or even Douglas Adams and Vonnegut at times (at least the style did).

I had a great time reading the novel except for maybe a part past the middle line, but apart from that the story really drew me in. I had a good time and I'm also considering to give a chance to the second installment in the series as well as to other books of the author. I think that's praise enough. A really fun, light read. I recommend it to anyone after some hard stuff as rehabilitation. Really strong 4 stars.
