Review: Hollywood Dead

Hollywood Dead Hollywood Dead by Richard Kadrey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Sandman Slim series is one of my absolute favorites. A new Sandman Slim novel is like Christmas for me, I can't wait for it every year. And this has been probably the most introverted, the most sentimental of all the novels yet. I mean there is plenty of gore and wit (which is partly the reason for this being one of my favorites), but there is also a really deep emphasis on Stark's feeling of self-worth. I really liked it and can't wait for the next. Also, I'm a little bit sad hearing in interviews and podcasts that Mr. Kadrey is going to end the story arc in a few books. But until then, please keep them coming every year, sir!
