Review: Last Man Out

Last Man Out Last Man Out by Elliott Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I rarely give 5-star ratings anymore. This is one of them. I have really fallen for this series and I loved this one as well. I learned to not see the stories critically concerning realism, but rather in a sort of Marvel superhero-movie kid of way. It cannot be done any other way having Tanner in the middle of the big, world-changing events and still, somehow getting away against all odds.
So, I still love the characters and the complex political intrigue behind the events. I also loved, how reading the previous spin-off novel, starring Alicia complemented the story here quite well.
I hope there are still some books in this series because I would have to see it end.
I recommend it to all Poor Man's Fight lovers (obviously), also to any military/action sci-fi fans. It's a fast-paced, action-driven, fun story.
