Review: Persepolis Rising

Persepolis Rising Persepolis Rising by James S.A. Corey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really like The Expanse. Whenever there is news about a new book being published I add it to my pre-orders without hesitation. And I was right to do so with this installment as well.

I read some reviews before starting this book and I was a little afraid of this happening 30 years after the point in time the last one finished. But it works out great. There are the old and loved characters just as well as some new ones.

The political intrigue, the action scenes, the character development and the beautiful writing which at the same time manages to be sarcastically witty from time to time always blows me away, and it was the same with Persepolis Rising.

Without wanting to mention any spoilers I stop my review here.

The expanse is still the king of the genre in my books, or at least the king of contemporary sci-fi.

Read it. You'll love it.
